The number of networked homes in the United States is projected to grow to 32.3 million by the end of 2007 from 6.7 million in 2002. Increasing adoption of broadband, multiple PCs in the home, the introduction of connectivity hardware by broadband providers, and improvements in wireless networking performance are factors driving the trend.
